Summer Girl (Bayliss 62′) is a product of over 38,000 man-hours and nearly 18 months of labor.
Summer Girl is powered by MTU M96L 12V engines, each with 1,920 horsepower. Her top speed was registered at over 47.5-knots at completion. This top end speed translates to a 41.5-knot cruise at 2150 (80% load). The engine room also contains two 25kW Northern Lights generators, an Imtra hydraulic bow thruster, and emergency pump out valving. The pump shelf contains a Dometic dual-chilled water A/C, an FCI water maker with dockside purification capabilities, and the new Bayliss Boatworks freshwater cooling system for all mechanical components.
