Big Deal: Purpose Built for Performance and Presence
The journey to Big Deal began years ago, when her owners first partnered with Bayliss Boatworks to service and maintain their 75’ Spencer. That longstanding relationship laid the foundation for something more: a purpose-built vessel designed in-house to match their fishing program and elevate their time on the water. The result is Bayliss 75’—a custom sportfishing weapon that reflects not only precision and performance, but also the trust, collaboration, and craftsmanship that define every Bayliss build.

Tournament Driven Layout
With a demanding tournament schedule ahead, Big Deal was designed from the ground up to deliver peak functionality offshore. Every detail in her cockpit strikes a balance between refined design and hardworking practicality, featuring hand-selected teak decking and coverboards. Custom refrigeration and storage solutions enhance the upper and lower mezzanine, which also includes dedicated tackle and tool storage, and a chilled freshwater dispenser. Release Marine outfitted the cockpit with a custom fighting chair, while the bridge boasts three helm chairs and a Bayliss custom, centered console. The bridge seating includes a forward console chaise with room for two and refrigerated storage in between—ideal for lounging with a beverage on the ride in from a full day of fishing.
Exterior details include custom transom artwork, faux teak accents on the toe rail, half round, and helm pod by Everett Nautical, and custom cushions by C-Worthy. Expertly painted by the Bayliss team, her hullsides and topside showcase custom Bayliss Imron Cloud White, complemented by a metallic red and black boot stripe that ties seamlessly into her transom design.

Interior Features
Stepping through the faux teak salon door, you are welcomed by warm walnut veneered cabinetry and wall coverings in the thoughtfully designed salon and galley. Abundant seating is featured in the salon, with an L-shaped sofa to port and a starboard loveseat. Beneath the salon seating, illuminated compartments offer easy access to tackle storage. A custom Bayliss Boatworks salon table rounds out the room, doubling as a clever storage solution.
The galley is designed with entertaining in mind, featuring a center island topped with Taj Mahal granite and flanked by Release Marine walnut barstools, creating a natural gathering space for guests. A two-person dinette offers a comfortable spot to enjoy a quick meal or plan the next move offshore. High end appliances add both luxury and convenience, including walnut-veneered Sub-Zero dual refrigerators and freezers, a Wolf three-burner induction cooktop, and a Wolf speed oven, ensuring the crew can prepare anything from dockside snacks to full meals with ease.
The pantry continues to impress with specialized features, including a Perlick top hat ice maker and nested storage tucked inside the cabinetry. The main electrical panel is an eye-catching feature in this space, offering accessible control without compromising design. The portside dayhead adds convenience and comfort for time spent offshore.
In the lower accommodations, Big Deal offers four staterooms, three full heads, and a fully equipped tackle room with custom rod and reel storage, as well as a stacked washer and dryer for extended stays offshore.
The aft port stateroom features two bunks, each with storage beneath and access to the shared head. Both forward port and starboard staterooms feature two bunks, one of which is a pullman that can be stowed when not in use. In the master stateroom, walnut cabinetry surrounds the bunk and master sofa, maximizing storage throughout. Taj Mahal countertops are featured in each ensuite head, as well as in the dayhead—creating a cohesive, polished look.

Mechanical Excellence
Powered by twin MTU 16V2000 M96L engines and supported by dual Kohler 40 kilowatt generators, Big Deal is engineered for long range performance and reliability. She is stabilized by two Seakeeper 18 units and features a Bayliss Boatworks freshwater cooling system to enhance onboard system longevity. A fuel capacity of 2,600 gallons and 400 gallons of freshwater ensure Big Deal is built to travel far and fish hard.
Additional equipment includes dual-pump hydraulic riggers, electric steering, an FCI water maker, and cutting-edge marine electronics installed by Custom Marine Electronics, such as a Furuno Omni Sonar and Starlink for seamless connectivity at sea, giving the crew every modern advantage on the water.

Crafted for Competition
From the cockpit to the bridge, every element of Big Deal was built with both performance and longevity in mind. The vessel’s configuration is the result of hands-on collaboration between her owners and captain, reflecting a shared commitment to fishability, elegance, and dependability.
Delivered in June 2025, Big Deal represents the culmination of more than 75,000-man man-hours of craftsmanship and innovation. Following her christening, she set course for Bermuda to compete in the Bermuda Triple Crown. From there, she will continue along the East Coast tournament circuit before heading to Costa Rica in early 2026 for the prestigious Los Sueños Signature Triple Crown.
It is an honor to welcome this team to the Bayliss Boatworks family.
