Bayliss Boatworks is building a new yacht, sized at 72’. This build began in July of 2019.

When it came time for a record-holding bluewater fly-fisherman and the owner of a 64’ Bayliss to build a new sport fishing yacht, he made the decision to commission a 72-footer with Bayliss Boatworks.

This vessel will feature numerous advances which are now standard on all Bayliss yachts. Bayliss 72’ will be stabilized by a Seakeepers 9 (forward) and Seakeeper 18 (aft). She will receive the Furuno Omni sonar, and Bayliss Boatworks’ propriety freshwater cooling system for all mechanical components. Other standard features will include a chilled water AC system, custom refrigeration, and custom livewell and tuna tube configuration.

The interior layout will consist of four-staterooms and three-and-a-half-heads. The salon will feature a custom L-shaped sofa and wet bar. As with other Bayliss builds, a custom tackle closet, pantry and day head will add functionality for an owner who is prepared to travel far and fish hard. Bayliss 72’ was flipped on January 3, 2020 and her delivery is scheduled for the summer of 2021.
